My husband and I are traveling up north for Mother's Day and to go to my youngest grandsons conformation. My husband asked me today if I wanted to leave earlier and really surprise the kids.
I packed 80% of my things and he has his all packed and ready to go. For some strange reason I decided to check the weather where we are going and I packed for the weather we have now and not thinking it is not warm up north.
Down here in Florida it is between 80 and 90 degrees everyday. We go to the pool all the time. I had to take all my summer clothes out of the suit case and put in jackets and long pants.
Up there it is only 50 degrees. Big difference. Everyone would think we were crazy.

@ramapo17 I think I always equate Europe with rain, snow and ice which is pretty ridiculous but that's what I always used to think if I thought about Europe. Spain actually has a similar climate to the most of the south of Australia.
