The Day When Those From Abroad, Arrived

I would like to share the day to day activities I had with my high school batchmates prior to the Alumni Homecoming last May 7th.
Again, I went on undertime from 4:00 – 6:30 that May 4th , to attend our dance practice.
When I arrived, they all shrieked upon seeing me. Wow, those from abroad has already arrived and they one by one hugged me.
They couldn’t believe that the skinny classmate they had before, has now grown fleshier. I too was so amazed at everyone , because most have grown so big from their small frames before.
After our practice. I hitched with a batchmate going home, because I was already so tired.
At 9:00 p.m. , my cellphone rang . It was one of my closest batchmates urging me to come to Gabbi’s where they rented a private videoke room. Hubby told me to go and so I went even if I was already in shorts and loose blouse, my house wear.
Everybody had a fun time singing and dancing to our music – the 70’s . We danced Do the Hustle, Rock Baby Rock ( a local band’s Tagalog danceable tune ) and a lot more. We even had a video , though I can’t share it because it’s not mine. 
Anyway, as you can see in the picture, everybody had fun that night.

@ridingbet Ifelt so sleepy and lethargic since May 09, when I went back to work after lunch. I called in sick in the morning because I have to oversleep to catch up my lost sleep the past days.
Unluckily , until now I feel that way.

@SIMPLYD i think the weather contributes to us getting drowsy especially in the afternoon. i tend to nod when i watch TV, and even nod at night before i go to bed.
anyway my lady, you will be able to sleep soundly when all your activities like the reunion, will be finished.

@HAPPSINGH I haven't been at LB since last week. I prefer it here because it seems like we are face to face interacting here. Interaction here has somehow a personal touch.

Oh yes! We were so sad on the last day, 8th, after we went to a batchmate's farm, because we will all be back to reality the next day. Some will be going back abroad where they live and us here in the Philippines, will be back to work.
But we continued the fun at our group chat in messenger. Photos flooded the chat group.

Just be determined with your plan of going abroad. Actually, two of those who came from abroad really sent boxes of prizes to be raffled. When they arrived, the two were the main sponsors of the prizes. Someone from abroad who wasn't able to come just sent money and our group just bought a microwave oven as the grand prize. The prizes were so nice , corning wares and coach sling bags.

Yes, for those in Manila we get to see everyone at least once or twice a year. For the Legazpi based , whenever there is someone from abroad comes home or somebody from the group has her birthday .

Actually, at our 50's we really can still dance so well.
And i saw that everyone of us still have their ability to dance so well , including me of course and you also as you said. 
That's actually, dependent on how we make our selves healthy at all times , that's why.

Every one looks so happy.
I have never attended any of our High School Alumni Homecoming. I prefer just meeting my highschool buddies somewhere.

@SIMPLYD They do but my former classmates ( buddies) and I just meet somewhere else. We are not killjoys but we just don't want to mingle with our other classmates.

We are always like this actually. Those who are based here would always meet and we would be like that.
