I guess this is parenting put to test

This 13-year old girl just ran away from home after disagreeing with her parents on why she should no longer have access to her phone since her parents felt she is too much onto WhattApp than her studies. We are all happy where technology has taken us and it is normal to hear supporting comments of being in the digital era.Our children have not been left behind and this definitely becomes a challenge to most parents as to what extent should be their usage of phones. What's more teenagers will always claim to always be on the right as they fight to be left on the loose to do as they wish. For this case, the girl left a note asking her family not to bother looking for her as she is big enough to take care of herself. At her age she still needs someone to look unto but too sad that she thinks otherwise.

That's the bane of being young or in the early teen. She has no exprience yet in life.

Its unfortunate that she thinks she can face this life on her own and her actions alone will definitely doom her future.

It's the hope of everyone and it was heartbreaking as her parents pleaded with her on national media to come back home.
