Mothers Day Dinner the Night Before

I am so happy as tonight we are going out to dinner with my kids and grandkids and a friend. When kids are little and terrors we don't think about how fast they will grow up. Now both of my grandsons are way over 6 feel tall and I get a stiff neck looking up to them. Funny how life is. We complain when they are little terrors and don't realize how fast they grow. It is time to stop and smell the roses.????

Those years can go so fast. My boys are now in their 40s but unfortunately there are no grandchildren. We have been allowed to be surrogate grandparents to several kids so that is good.

I am sure they love you as any grandchild would. Some blood parents and grandparents do not take care of the ones you mentioned.??

Kids do grow fast. Stopping to smell the roses should have happened while they were growing. 6' is a neck stretch indeed.

@just4him We just got home from our visit to see the grandsons and they got taller again. The youngest one is only 16 and is taller than his 20 year old brother. I think he is 6 foot 3 inches.

The years pass so fast, this is what we were discussing with our friends who came for lunch yesterday. We were all in our 30's when we met and we are all nearing the 70's.
