In my country we celebrate this day on February it use to call "Mother's day" but it's beem changed to "Family day". This day focuses on family status in general, mothers in particular and their place in society. In Israel, the family day is celebrated on the eve of her death, Henrietta Szold, who founded the Hadassah Organization for Women, very well known of women's organization. After a long period of nurturing Mother's Day, as a result of social and cultural changes in Israel, Mother's Day was changed to family day.

Thanks to my mother I exist and with her and with her support I succeed in crossing the world. My father guides me and guides me how to examine and see the world? This year family day was on 26 of February.

Will mothers still be as special on the family day? That's the point of celebrating mother's day anyway, to appreciate mothers.

At least in general and all will pay attention to this very special family day. It should be family first before anything else.

Interesting information. Do Americans who move to Israel tend to do Family Day, rather than two separate days?
