These are just two of the street cats that I regularly fed ,I had not seen them for a couple of days so I asked around, tuns out they have moved in with a Egyptian man who guards some Villas, and has asked to keep them, he sent me this picture of them lying on his roof, when I stare very young and completely feral, there was no flight only fight ,I have already had them neutered and spayed so as now they are super friendly it looks like they have found a good home

@shebish You'd think she would be the fiercer...with a patch over her eye like a pirate.

@responsiveme She has a little bit of Pirate in her when she steals the food off of her brother.

That must have been expensive for you to neuter and spay them but at least they have a good home and you won't have to feed them anymore.

That's a good attitude @shebish and you are lucky it is not too expensive. Here the vets are always so expensive.

It is worth it not to have even more kittens to worry about in a few months. And vet bills and feed are not too bad here

@shebish She is a bit apprehended because of the situation. Perhaps some people abused her. I hope you can catch her.

@Shavkat I will keep trying to befriend and catch her ,I am not sure if she has been abused , I think it is more likely that she just has had no contact with people, and is shy,

They are cute,I have been trying to catch one that is possibly the mother to them,as I would like to get her spayed and checked as she has a leg injury but she is very elusive.

It has taken seven months of feeding and scratches to get them trusting people, they could only of been around four months old when they first appeared looking for scraps.

The older street cats I feed are still very nervous, they will take food from my out stretched hand then run off a little way to eat it.

The guard has really taken to them, and they will hopefully help him keep any rodents out of the building he looks after.

@DesirousDreamer In theory they should be, as long as he does not over feed them,

I adopted two stray cats. They are black cats. I had them spay and neutered. They fight sometimes, but they are friendly. Yours are cute.

Strays have so much love to give, once they trust us, I am glad you took two in as well. We rarely see all black cats here, the majority are like my profile photo and others tend to be a mixture of colours like these two,,they do seem to love each other so I am glad they have chosen to stay together,.

@shebish It is great that your husband takes an interest in the cats too. I'm sure there are plenty that need help.

It is, the female who is a little timid with me still, is all over her new owner like a rash, I think she is more of a mans cat.

It's kind of you to look after the cats before they were adopted. Does it cost alot to have a cat as a pet?

@shebish That's good... So how many of the cats do you feed? I was told that once they find out they are being fed, they will coming..

@atoz1to10 It was five and my own of course, now these two had left home, up until midday it was the three street cats, but another little scrap has appeared, this one very young maybe five or six weeks old,so I guess there must be a couple I have not seen and mum somewhere, so extra food was left out for them, Street cats here rarely have more than two or three kittens that survive in their litters.

I think any animal lover would happily help them, and no it is not expensive, unless you buy the canned cat food, that is expensive, I tend to buy dried food to leave out with a bucket of water besides it, and also I give them a chicken or fish mixture once a day.
