Mother's Day my youngest grandson was the chef for the day. We had a barbecue outside with the normal hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage, peppers and onions.
He is in culinary school during his second year of high school. He has been watching my husband cook through the years and he wants to do the same.
Everything tasted so much better due to all the love he put in it.

I hope so. So many kids start in one direction and end up at something different.

It is good to hear that you had gala time on Mother's Day and your grandson, who happens to be a chef, made it a memorable occasion.
