Spring has Sprung Again!

It's a gorgeous day and now it finally feels like spring again. The sun is out, my windows are open again and it feels so good. I continue to worry about my niece. I called her last night to see how her stomach was, after the feeding tube incident. She said her stomach hurts very badly, so she couldn't go to work, and the site of the tube was bleeding. But before I could ask her anything further about that, she told me that her cat had taken a huge turn for the worse and she could not stop crying. He had climbed up to a higher spot to sleep and she was terrified of how he would get down. Since I'd gone through that with my cat just last week, I gave her my tips. She found a chair to put near him and some pillows on the floor to cushion his jump. And he was able to safely get down. His problem right now is that he's an older cat, and she recently acquired a kitten. I was in that position many years ago. When your older cat is dying, they don't need a kitten around bothering them. I warned her about that, and to give her older cat a quiet place to be during this difficult time and let the kitten go crazy somewhere else. So she did that. I asked her to call me if she needed me. I brought my phone to bed with me last night but she never called and I haven't seen any messages from her. I will call her in a while to see what's going on. I just hope the problem with the cat won't make her neglect her own health. Needless to say, I have another raging headache. I'll be taking something soon since it's getting worse. I need to get some laundry done, but I might put it off until tomorrow. I'm not sure yet. I hope you're all having a good day! I'm doing okay right here and now.
