I was looking through old genealogy papers i have while working on our Family History, when i came across this poem by my Great Great Grandmother Mary Agnes (O'Donnell) Purnell it is written about her mother Ann (Sharp) O'Donnell written in 1949. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Happy birthday mother Dear In heaven up above.... Are you peeking through the star light? Down on the ones you love? Are you waiting for our coming when the day is done? and we are traveling homeward Beyond the setting sun.... Rest in peace dear mother as we cross the great divide we will walk in God's sunlight until we reach you side.... and when the golden sun is set and we are with you abide you can close the starlet window, and with god we shall reside.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So beautifully written!!! This lovely photo is Four Generations - My Great Aunt Betty Niemeyer her daughter Barbara Niemeyer, My Great Great Grandmother Mary Agnes, and her mother Ann O'Donnell.

I am a little bit of everything @MALUSE My Great Grandfather George David Bergstrom his father was Swedish and his mother was Danish, My Great Grandmother Martha Willenbring her parents we're both German, and on my Grandma Mary's side of the family her Great Great Grandparents we're from Ireland and Austria. So i am a mix of just about everything....

@chrissbergstrom When you get to the very first of your ancestors you will have to tell us where did they originate from Chris.

@chrissbergstrom I only have one. I wanted to take another one this past year, but my granddaughter was uncooperative and high tailed it to Texas before a four generation picture could be taken.

@just4him I am sorry it is sometimes difficult to get people into pictures, i pray my Grandma is here for a long time as i'd hope to have a 5 generation picture with her and my niece, but my eldest niece is only 16 so i hope granny lives a long life she is only 77, so i know that it may happen.

Yes a cousin of my Grandma Mary's sent me a big box of old photos and it has some papers in it to i could not believe she did not want this stuff, but she knew how much family history meant to me so she sent it my way.
