I swear my property grew! As I mow it its getting bigger and bigger. I did my three hours this evening and I am totally wiped out. This is also day three so I am either getting slower and old or the proprery had grown. I still have a section left, and another three hours of mowing. Ever had you place to grow?

@teamfreak16 Me either but back in 2010 I had a couple men tell me I could not mow it by push mower, HA! Go and tell me I cant do something like that! But for the past three years I have been spoiled with a rider for the fields and I would only push mow around the house.

@andriaperry - Then again, I never had to mow that large of an area.

It may just be like ours and the first time or two it takes longer because everything is out of control. I do not think we have ever gotten 100 percent cleaned up, I am too afraid of the poison ivy.

Only super very rich people have a lot of land here in Switzerland. With a price starting at $ 400 for square foot you cannot afford a lot of land.

@andriaperry Here you pay almost more for the land than for the house. Europe is such a crowded place.

Oh wow! The last lot I bought is around 1/4 or more acre for $2,000 but that was years ago.

I had a ride on for my acre if I felt energetic I would occasionally drag out a push mower, but the only thing I noticed growing was the grass. I would not of liked to have attempted two acres by hand mower.

It is not easy but I have no choice till the riding more is fixed.

I would not want a big place like you have. That is a lot of work.

Well, the intention was to farm, with nuts and fruit trees and more. But sickness came and that is on hold. I will most likely go smaller in the years to come and sell this to a younger family.

We are allowing the wooded areas to close in on us so there is less to mow! Plus, it gives wildlife a place to be besides our space-

I used to be the people who did those places back in the day when I owned my own landscaping business.
