Pack what first?

What must go into the suitcase and not be left behind? What must be there?
First thing into my borrowed little carry on suitcase went: tah dah. Our swimsuits. Silly me. I don't generally allow others to get a gander at my varicose veins but heh, if the South is sweaty and I've been snooping and walking all day, a pool might be just the ticket.
Other thing that went in first: the charger for my camera. Yes, I still have a now old fashioned camera. Got to remember the camera while I am at it!

My first item to pack are my meds. In fact, I start counting and packing them with time. My eldest daughter gets on of them where she works, but each packet has 2 pills. So I have to check how many free meds I have and if I will need to buy some.

@marguicha Yes for sure on the meds. I will have ibuprofen along for pain in case my legs and back get achy from all our touristy walking. We're going on airplanes so we have to be sure to pack all my husband's various vitamins and my ibuprofen in a clear bag.

@marguicha Just so long as you feel well that is what matters. My hubby has diabetes. He is taking lots of mineral supplements and vitamins as well as eating very well. He now takes less meds since he started doing this.

Gus on here has an old camera that does nicely.
Hope yours is good too so we can see cool photos.

@TiarasOceanView I'm not looking forward to the airports or the skinny airplane seat but three days of adventure will be worth it. I wish you were coming, too.

@RichardMeister Thanks. My camera is digital. We were at Staples the other day and the clerk there said that they do not sell cameras of any sort any more!! Everyone is using smart phones these days so Staples makes no money off cameras.

@RichardMeister Mine is just a simple Canon digital gizmo but I still get okay photos- not at all good for birds, though and that I wish I had. Where do you get film from? Off the internet?

@sallypup I have an old TopCon that uses film and an Olympus digital. I suppose everyone is now using their smart phones.

@silvermist I am not a swimmer, either. I am too scared to get above my head in the water but I do like to walk in it and feel cooler.

I don't actually pack it first, but I do grab it first and place it right beside my suitcase... they are called meds! Anything else I forget, I can just buy!

I have my clothes laid out on a bed and am in the process of deciding what I'll take and what I'll leave home. It gets pretty tricky.

Yes remember to bring charges for phone and camera, bring some good books, bring a flash light they come in handy, bring batteries for flashlight, and remember clothes you will need them : )
