After A Rain

This evening before the storms move in to stay, it would rain a few minutes and then stop and repeat.
So when I was taking photos for my blog I also took a couple of the new lilies blooming, I have mostly orange blooming right now but I have many colors.
Do you grow day lilies?

A pale yellow, deep yellow and peach. I did have one like the photo but it was red instead of orange.

We have a few day lilies but we pulled a bunch up to make room for flowers we really wanted. Those day lilies can really spread. My other lilies haven't bloomed yet.

Yes they can, I think if you put them in a place that you do not like in your yard they would live forever. I like that they are drought tolerate for the most part and they come back every year for decades.

@andriaperry Oh yea they always come back, however we have rarely had a drought problem here. The last drought we had was in like 1988 if I'm remembering right.
we have a lily, but i'm not sure what kind, they only bloom rarely though
