Hi mylotters!!! Good noon... How are all of you doing?? I feel that I have to improve my vocabulary skills. So I asked for suggestions from my brothers and sisters. They told me to watch English movies, read newspapers, see videos of speech given by great people....other than these things I love to read novels.... Do you have good vocabulary skills?? Can you suggest me some of the ways you followed to improve your vocabulary skills?? Have a great day......!!! Image courtesy: Google.

Keep reading and looking up the meaning of words that you don't know. Never miss one.

My vocabulary increased by me reading novels when I was in high school and a dictionary is with me. When I don't know a word, i underline it and look it up in the dictionary.

@Teekaaa You have to use it in a sentence and read it aloud. Then memorize what it means and translate it to your opn language so you can remember what it means.

No, I do not have good vocabulary skills. There was an easy reading paper in Hebrew that was around when I was learning Hebrew. Maybe there is a way on the internet to help you improve your English or a newspaper that may help also.

Sometimes I just take a dictionary and start to read trying to learn at least five new words. After, I try to build a sentence with each of them. It's always a great experience when I find one of those words I learned recently in a text of a newspaper, magazine or book I read.
