Tonight we had hog ham steaks and stuffing. This may very well be the cheapest meal I have prepared since I started doing this series. Although I can't really recal. I should really get a composition book or print these posts out, so I can keep track of them throughout the year. Anyway, here is the breakdown. The hog ham was free, because they were given to us by the neighbors. WD brand chicken stuffing- $1.29 WD brand Dijon mustard for glaze- $1.00 Honey used for glaze- $0.50 Salt, pepper and butter- $0.50 Total for meal $3.29. It was pretty good, and it was the first time I had ever cooked hog ham. So I was pleased with the results. There is even enough for leftovers.

Very frugal meal! I love doing that kind of stuff! We are well enough off and I never worry about money. . . but I am always trying to get the grocery store scores and make cheap meals. I have no idea why.
