I remember growing up and never hear of all the things that happen now. It is so scary and one wonders if this will ever stop. So far I am seeing on USA television that there are over 30 people dead in the bombing in England tonight. Both young and older adults are going through a very trying time tonight as there were many people trying to get into the concert that Ariana Grande was to perform at was bombed. Will this ever stop in our lifetime?

What happened is horrible and (of course) it was a terrorist attack. NO, it will not stop until there is so much hate in the world.

The people that create all this hate are crazy as that is not going to fix anything.

I do not believe that terror bombings against soft targets around the world will stop in our lifetime but times have always been tough since the beginning of time. Think about any year / decade / period whether it be 80 B.C. or 12 A.D. or 100 A.D., etc and you will find very bad things happening to hordes all over the world. the difference for us is that we can read and we get media 24/7 and it is a much far easier to travel from one part of the world to another part. This is a story that will keep continuing.

You are absolutely right @bostonphil. We always want better for our children than we had but I don't see that happening any time in the near future.

No, it won't. It's nothing new, either. We just passed the 90th anniversary of the Bath School bombing in Bath, Michigan, which killed 44 people (38 of them, children).

I am not familiar with that bombing. That is really sad being most of them were children.,

I think it is the new normal and we just have to get used to it - sad as it may be. My heart goes out to all the victims

It is very sad isn't it? It would be quite terrifying for the young ones especially.

I feel sorry for Arriana Grande. She is young and I am sure she is really scared.

@JudyEv It is awful. I never remember things like this when I was growing up. There are so many sick people in this world.
