My niece came home from Dubai, and she and her father who is my kid brother, came home a few days ago. My niece,RL, brought us a bag of dates from Dubai. I like dates and I love eating them since I tasted them in Kuwait way back 1986-1990. A flatmate who is a Muslim said when it is their breakfast after the evening prayers at 6pm, and the first food they eat is a few dates. (It is in Quran that The prophet Mohammad had to eat dates to break his fasting the whole day.) I ate 5 pieces of dates. I like it over bananas now. Do you like dates?

@minx267 and my next discussion's title is also a 'cannibal over-eating her dates'.

I like dates, but did not use them when my kids were around as they did not like them. I have not had any in a while.

I like dates as well. My uncle worked in Saudi Arabia before and every time he went home here in the country he'd bring a lot and I'd have my fill of dates.

@allen0187 me too, my friend. i simply love eating dates. i like the bigger ones. i want to take a piece now, but i worry i might have loose motions again, and it is Sunday tomorrow; sure i don't want to go out of the church to poop, right?

when i was in Kuwait, i did not even liked tasting a piece, but when my flatmate told me to taste one piece (it was Ramadhan that time), i bit one, and liked it. having a pack of dates as a token from somebody who comes from a Muslim country, is good if not better, than the refrigerator stick-on reminders, or strong perfumes, in my own opinion.

Yes, I like dates, but I never eat more than a couple of dates, they are full of calories.

@ridingbet I have no problems eating dates, dried prunes work as laxative.

@LadyDuck yes, the dates are laxatives. now, if i want to eat, i think i will limit with just 3. my motions are now of normal consistency, and no more abdominal pains and urgency.

My daughter is in the middle east and she occasionally would include them in the packages she sends home. Not very fond of them though. But your title provoke some naughty thoughts in my mind.
