ISIS in the Philippines? / myLot

I missed morning news or the evening newscast. Yesterday, most FB posts were about Marawi City. The Martial Law in Mindanao. The ISIS waving their black flag in Marawi. It was a scary scene seeing those on YouTube and FB. And I believed this happened during President Duterte's visit to Russia. I can't believe this is happening in the Philippines. Please include my country in your prayers.

I read about this. Very scary indeed. There was a mini attack carried out by ISIS in my country 2 years back. Will play for your country

@jobelbojel yes it was and it all happened near the french embassy and a hotel in my country. Fortunately no one was injured

it is the Maute group that waves the ISIS flag, wanting to be recognized and acknowledged by the international terrorist group.

If you are in Luzon, need not worry because you are not affected. And since we are in Davao City, people here are very calm while we are under Martial Law. I saw a lot of critics coming from Luzon.

I have read abou it - that ISIS took a priest and several worshipers hostage.

Hey dont worry man.... Isis are not from another planet or they are not an alien. i know philippines is great culturer country and no one harm that country. stay strong man..... God bless us all.
