Aj, 17 years old came home late at night. He come home maybe at 3:30 in the morning. When I called him at 2am he said he was at the beach. I told him to come home and he said yes to me. I didn't sleep well waiting for him. He didn't tell us when he went to nearby beach. Sometimes I called him but didn't answer. It's haed to handle teenagers. Now I realized how my mother felt when I'm in his age.

Father and Son Sad to say, I don't have a biological father anymore . (teary eyes) You may not carry him now in your arms but you will always carry him in your heart.

Wow nice words. When he was still a child I carry him overnight when his asthma strike. Now he's grown and hard to control

@Elisa1234 but of course, sometimes, they have to be considerate about the feelings of their parents.

I never realized what my parents went through until I had teenagers of my own. You will have many sleepless nights and lots of worried when they are out with friends. Those were for me some of the most difficult times when raising children.

That's true, I cannot sleep and when I call him he didn't immediately respond to my call.

@Happy2BeMe they are too adventurous and really wanted to do whatever they wanted to do. If only they can feel how scared their parents are.

@ilocosboy They will do that too. They just don't understand how worried we are about them.

Have a serious talk with your son. I'm sure he will understand and refrain from doing it again.

Yes buddy, that's what I did. I told him the bad effect of roaming around late at night. I think I'm a better adviser to him than my wife.

my niece is older and does that a lot. she already knows the night before or the morning when she says goodbye that she won't be coming home, but she will only text us about it when it's already 10pm. grrr!

@ilocosboy When I had my phone, the very first one. Another silent agreement, when coming home late call at home so every one will know where I am and why I am running late. Sometimes back then I think mobile phone makes my life complicated.

Maybe that's why my mother doesn't allow me to go out at night.. with my friends..

@Slayqueen I was mad at him especially when he didn't answer my call. But when I talked to him and know that he's okay, I was so thankful that I forgot about my madness to him.

He didn't ask permission from and if I didn't call him, I will not know his whereabouts

I don't know why boys are like this. They are so irresponsible at times and do not pick the calls.
