My Asus cell phone gets restarted by itself, and it is very irritating.

So, one of my friend accidently put my phone in water, and after that day, it restarts randomly by itself. This is irritating..

It is some software problem I think, retailer says, it has to be sent to the service centre, and that takes around three days. Just wanted to know, if someone knows this problem already, and has better solution.
