Detox Foot Pads, have you ever tried them?

Years ago I started using them and when I ran out of them I forgot to order more. After being in this house for over a year, I finally found some more of them in a box that I never unpacked until now. Now my husband is using them to. It is amazing that I put the pads on the bottom of my feet over night and in the morning when I take them off, they are black. Supposedly all the bad toxins get pulled out of the body when wearing these pads. I also checked further and found that some people use them at different areas of the body. It is to new for me to give a report about them as I just started doing that.

That's interesting but I was wondering if there wasn't something in them that turns black on contact with human skin. Then I read Anna's comment (@LadyDuck). What a shame they don't really work. I was all set to go out and buy some.

Yes, there is a substance that make them turn black or brown with the heat and this is what doctors declared about those "detox" products: The basic idea that toxins will be excreted through the skin clashes with what is known about human anatomy and physiology. Real detoxification of foreign substances takes place in the liver.... Of course most people believe and so some companies become rich.

@LadyDuck I guess really - it was never going to be that easy to detox.

@JudyEv No, when something sounds too good to be true, this means that is a scam.

@Courtlynn They were not expensive. There are lots of them offered, just look for the cheapest with the most amount. I forget which one I bought but there are a lot of them in the package.

They have been recalled here after the medical authorities have proven that they are a scam, they do not pull out bad toxins at all.
