Oh brother, why do you have to share it to me?

This morning while we were taking our breakfast, I opened the phone to check on my face book wall. The usual news that I follow were the ones that I read first, and then my kid brother shared me this gruesome newsfeed. It was the video of a terrorist beheading a man who was crying. My sister and my son told me to delete the post, but I pushed through watching the horrific incident, while I was eating. When the terrorist placed his sharp dagger at the left side of the man’s throat, I immediately clicked on that arrow pointing down in the post, deleted it and will unfollow any posts bearing the same incidents of violence and terrorism. The post is rated Strict Parental Guidance, but I am anxious why these acts of terrorism like beheading a person is allowed on Face Book. Maybe the one who took the video of the heinous act is also a terrorist and has an account on FB? I then messaged my brother not to share any kind of these terrorism acts. I will also change my settings into not receiving these kinds of newsfeeds anymore.

yesterday afternoon, i barely came in this site because i watched some video-posts on YouTube about the cute cats and dogs, and also some scandals of famous stars. i do not wish to see the terrorists doing their crimes to innocent people.

I hate watching those kinds of videos too. I skip them. There was also the video of a little boy in Syria who was injured following airstrikes which I watched. It eas very difficult to forget about this video. Videos depicting violence must be banned from all social networks

@ridingbet well if that's the case then it is good. I hope that this child is not obliged to stay in the children's home

Was this video about the Canadian who got beheaded by the Abusayaff Terrorist? I think I saw that if that's what was shown to you and even for me it was disturbing.

no, my friend. he was a Filipino, in blue shirt, and crying so hard even when the knife was starting to cut his throat, a couple of days ago. i have not seen that Canadian beheaded.

i made an account on FB to connect with my family, colleagues and friends. the settings allow me to check on some news feeds, but do not like these acts of violence.

I didn't know we can change the settings not to receive this kind of newsfeed. I have stopped following those who always like to share news on my Facebook friend list. I just don't want to fill my days with lots of negative stuff. I think this kind of video really should not be shared.

this morning, i checked on the settings again, of one who keeps on posting his experiences. i unfollowed him, but it does not exclude him from showing his latest posts.

horrible. that person would surely come off my friends list. i took someone off once for constantly posting up tortured animals, etc.

@bunnybon7 oh, no, my friend. i don't have nightmares when i see a gruesome scene like that. it is because i would literally remove the image in my mind, and suppress it as well. but yes to some, these images can create nightmares and could not even eat. they are taking it too seriously.

that is one post that i would not want to see too- the animals being tortured and killed by humans. i saw one 2 weeks ago, about a Muslim man who slashed the neck of one dog that he hanged in a tree. i did not watch the entire post, but i was so angry at that man.

@louievill it is good you can watch that scene.me, i can see a body operated on, with all the internal organs popping out, but watching a crime, i cannot do that. i pity the victim.
