A Little Dog Showed Up At My House

I am ready have a senior dog and several cats, so I can't take in any more animals. Friday a dog showed up at my house it was very cute shaking and scared.I tried to find the owners went from house to house.No one has ever seen the dog checked craigslist.. I tried to see if i could handle another pet but I can't take them out at the same time.
We don't have a typical yard , no garage so a lady across the street is going to take it in for awhile.
I gave it the sweater it is actually a wine bottle cover I cute the arms on it so it would fit. It was really cold and liked the sweater.. It is a cutie,but I just couldn't take it in.

I know, I put is in a laundry basket to sleep in, with a blanket it was very small.

We have a lot of loose pit bulls here and would not like to see it hurt. Or killed because we live on a busy street. It was on my porch sitting there,so I just couldn't leave it out side.

I don't know it is really cute and it is a Chihahau , my senior is a chichauau.. The little dog would not eat or go outside to pee, wouldn't do any and wouldn't drink water. I had it here for a day it was a lot of work for me,with my dog.
We do get a lot of dogs dumped here, so I hope that is not the case and didn't want it to go to the shelter.

No one ever claimed her,she is not at a rescue in a home, she is in safe place.

the safe place is with an animal rescue.. A day rescues dogs and cats and finds home for them and medical if they need it.

Hope the little one will soon get back to her owners. Preiti our pet was a stray too. Just when we had decided to not to have pets for a while this one walks in and it was love at first sight.
She is now ten years old - a great companion

If we could be assured it was a no kill the non kill shelter is not local and a bit of a commute.. Hopefully it will work out for my neighbor or the owner will be tracked down.

What a sweet little dog. It looks extra cute in that sweater. I hope its owners can locate it. I would notify the police and animal shelters in case anyone calls for it. That happened to use once. The owner called the police and he was able to pick up his dog from us.

@DianneN I think she is, what is even crazier is we seen someone carrying a dog..they set it down and kept walking.. The never came back it and the dog was still out side the next day wandering around. Another Chi. I went out looking for it, and it was gone,so i hope someone else took it in.

I just don't have the space and would for sure do all the work trying to juggle both dogs.. I tried it for a day and wheee I was worn out.
