Do you bruise easily?

I have a movable cart in my kitchen with extra cans and things on it, and I was looking for something on it, when all of a sudden, two cans fell off of it, and landed on my toes on the left foot.
I was hobbling around as it really stung, and i had all I could do to get to my chair afterwards.
It never really hurt afterwards, and it doesn't hurt now. I decided to look what damage was done, and nothing, not even a bruise, at least nt yet anyway.
I have a tendency to bruise real easily, and I am surprise that bruises didn't show up already. That will be lucky for me if they don't.

Ouch, that had to hurt. that has happened to me too, and mine was a really ugly bruise. I don't like the looks of them either, as mine will trun yellow too before it turns blue. Beings that I am older, it will take awhile for the burises to heal. In the meantime, I have to look at the ugly things.

That is possibly my problem, as i bump my shin on the table, and a few minutes later it turns into a big ugly bruise. I hate it, so I do try to avoid doing anything that will cause a bruise, ut sometimes, it just happens, no mattter how careful I am.

@Courtlynn I do my best to try from bruising since it takes forever to get rid of them, and I do eventually, but at the same time, they look so ugly until they are gone.

Ouch! It seems that sometimes I don't bruise right away. But I do bruise pretty easily.

@celticeagle I can' walk on it now though, as it only stung for a short time. I wasn't sure what I had done to them, but thank goodness, I didn't break them, or bruise them, and I was afraid that I would.

I do bruise easily since I was a kid. And since I have a white complexion, bruises are very noticeable. Even with a simple bump on a table or chair, I can get a bruise.

@rosekiss True! I feel like I am really quite a numb person because when my mom would ask me where did I get the bruises, I would answer I did not know.

the same with me, as I have a light complexion as well, and I bruise so easily, that I will get bruises when I don't recall bumping into anything. It really is crazy for sure. I hate getting bruises, as they seem to take to long to heatl, and ugle as well.

@annierose I don't always know where I get mine either, unless I see them. Most of the time, I get them on my arms or legs, very noticeable for sure, and I wish I didn't. I just try to do the best I can not to bump into anything.

I have to say I bruise easily. There is not one day where I do not hit my leg or arm to something. At times I just see a new bruise on my leg and wonder where I got it from. Even if I try to not get any, somehow I just get one from some random thing.

That is the way it is with me too. I seem to get them for no reason, and I wonder how I got them. I try not to bump into things either, but it happens more time than not.

@sublime03 Boy, you got that right, as I am as clumsy as they come. I wear I am an accident waiting to happen. It seems when I get in a hurry, then I end up falling down, or bumping into things. It sure does hurt too.

I do now yes. Not extreme, but I notice with age, the bruise does not go away so easily.

I do beleive that I am somewhat anemic too. It has been awhile since I was checked on it, but more than likely, it is still the same. I will just have to be more careful, since I am much older.

I bruiese much to easily, and I hate it. I have to be so careful, not to bump into things, or stub my toe, as that will bring on bruises too. Thank goodness though, when I am in my easy chair sitting here and posting, I don't have to worry about that happening.

since i am on Coumadin medication, i bruise easily, that is why i always take good care if i accidentally bump in to hard objects.
I accidentally bump on the tables and chairs here at home, and that causes me to have hematoma or black and blue skin discoloration, on my thighs. I believe...

@rosekiss it is hard to take vegetables that have low vitamin K content, and i do not even know any vegetable that has that effect in our system. i am only aware that the dark green leafy veggies are high in Vitamin K.
