What if you lost all things that encourage you to be in the world

Many people sees that if they had lost somethings in their life, their life will be meaningless, and some of them would try to end it, but do you think that life itself, may be one of those things ?, so if you lost all the important things in your life, you will live only for life itself.

The question remind us of the Holy Scriptures story about Job in the Book of Job that he practically lost everything but look what happened in the end of the story.
