Free Cheese

I just picked up 2 free bags of cheese. They are huge bags and 1 is for my house and the other for my daughter's boyfriends house. The cheese would have cost $21.00 and with the 2 free coupons it was free. That will mean a lot of meals with something that didn't cost anything, so more money for my vacation fund.
Did you get anything free or low cost recently?

That is great, as like to see restaurants offer something to regular customers. It always makes me happy to visit that restaurant.

@Fishmomma it was the Nando's restaurant. They gave us a priviledge card on which they can track the number of times we visited the restaurant.

LOL I think it can be hard to save. I'm working harder and will be setting money aside earned online for a trip to Las Vegas at the end of the year.

What kind of cheese did you pick up?
I love cheese!
Recently, I went to the mall and used my birthday coupon at VS for free panties and toward more panties of my purchase. I also purchased ink on Staples and got a free gift (a picnic blanket) - pretty random but I needed ink anyway so why not! Hehe

One package of Mozzarella to make homemade pizzas at my house and the Cheddar left to my daughter's boyfriends house. They love cheese, so are thrilled that I was able to get a package for both houses.
I love the VS Coupon also. It was fun shopping in the store after losing weight, as there were so many panties in my size it was hard to pick. You would have thought it was a candy store, as felt like a kid getting a treat.

Nothing out of the ordinary, really... I like to shop the reduced meat and produce items at the stores I shop at, so a good portion of the things we buy are discounted pretty heavily. Oh, we did pick up a really nice rack of pork ribs for $0.99/lb on sale last week, and the 93/7 ground beef was only $3/lb so we ended up with a few pounds of that. And Walmart had some passable bi-color corn on sale 10 for $1... it took a lot of digging through the bin to find half a dozen decent ears, but they were really good with dinner last night.

The hamburger is an excellent deal, as I did buy hamburger this week and some is now in the freezer. I'll be using that meat in any dish with meat, as at least once a week I do a no meat day. Glad you were able to find some good corn and that is an excellent price. It doesn't get low in my area.

I'm looking for every way I can save money, as my daughter will be graduating from the Library Science Master's Program in December 2017. We are planning to go on vacation in Vegas and setting money aside for this trip.
