If you have insomnia, maybe you should just read a book?

Haven't you had those nights where you just could not go back to sleep after getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or woke up to a thunderstorm loud band of thunder or a hang up call from nowhere by nobody? Yep. This is a thing that can create stress and cause you to not be able to sleep. Not exactly insomnia but we all have periods of wakefulness during the night when we really need a good night's sleep. So, that said, find a quiet corner of a room and get comfy and pick up a book and read it a while. I might even say it would be nice to have a warm cup of cocoa and a fire place to get warm by. Just a thought from a person who values a good night's sleep but also has times of insomnia that don't just go away by laying and staring at the ceiling. or look at this video

I usually get pretty sleepy reading, so that would definitely be my choice.

I would say books are much better, a real book that is, than digital media to help one fall asleep.

Yea, an actual book made of paper and with a thick amount of pages to read. The thing I hate is I can't concentrate at night when I am groggy so the thought of being able to read when trying to get back to sleep is a contradiction of logic. But, I think it might work for some people.

@lookatdesktop Isn't that so sad Anthony? Me too, I used to be able to actually read an actual book, no more however. My concentration is so bad and by the time night comes, I am ruined for it.

All I need is to try to read a technical journal or science news magazine and it puts me to sleep like a dream.
