Has google outdated the use of Encyclopedias? I remember that when I was a student I used to have a bundle of Encyclopedias for knowledge. Not all students have their own tablets and the great Google. Am I correct?

Everything on the web can be hacked and manipulated, while written Encyclopedias remain. I still have one, because you never know what the future will bring.

@amitkokiladitya I use it time by time when I am not fully convinced of what I find on the Internet. The content of Wikipedia can be updated by everyone and I have noticed that recently there are abuses.

I love to go through encyclopedias. I used to have a whole set and hope to find another. We home school one of my granddaughters and use real books and barely any computer.

That's right my friend. It used to be that you cannot make your research without going or borrowing books from the library. But now its different due to the explosion of knowledge in the internet.
