Consider This About Marriage
Robert Schuman, a French statesman, (1886-1963) said something very interesting that I happened to read this morning.
He said: “When I was a young man, I vowed never to marry until I found the ideal woman. Well… I found her – but, alas, she was waiting for the perfect man.”
Many young persons, of course, are hoping to meet the “perfect” person to marry. They have in their mind what that person should look like, how that person will act toward them and all sorts of ideas about how things are supposed to happen when they meet that “perfect” person.
However, many are disappointed when that “perfect” person never comes into their life. And some marry what they “thought” was the perfect person and then find out that they are NOT perfect.
The fact is, that no one is PERFECT. We all have our weaknesses and flaws. Finding a life-long partner in marriage is not easy, but if you are waiting for a “perfect” match, you may have to wait a long time.
Marriage is a two-way relationship that requires a lot of loving attention if you want it to work. There is no place in a marriage for selfishness.
Making your mate happy is the KEY. Being kind and loving will cover any small ups and downs in a marriage. A married couple has to be willing to forgive and forget when their mate disappoints them in some way, realizing that they are not perfect either.
What do you think?
Here’s a link you might want to consider if you are hoping to find a suitable marriage mate.

True. Noones perfect. And you'll be waiting your whole life if you're waiting for someone who is.
