Do you have any idea to fry popcorn seed without an airfrier?

Tried to steam it in a bowl and later tried to boil the seed. All these made no changes to the seed. I throw it in waste. Need to buy an airfrier now. Do anyone know how to make popcorn without an airfrier.
I followed the instructions in the sachet of popcorn seed...no way...

You put the corn in the pan of oil and it pops in the hot oil.
Right before your eyes but you must keep a lid on it.

@Mareena Yes that is the wrong thing it will stay hard haha I don't have a microwave to pop in the bag.

You can also put the kernels in a brown size lunch bag and microwave it

Brown paper lunch bag and microwave I posted on this a while ago I will try and find it and share it with you really easy to do

@Mareena Your welcome. Take and add 1/4 cup popcorn kernels to paper lunch bag fold over and put in microwave and set timer for 2 to 3 minutes. I have not tried yet but going to soon though.
