Can Spiderman 3 surpass the gross sales of Spiderman 2? Or just another 'X-Men' type of movie crap?

Sure it can! Spiderman Spiderman.. does whatever a spider can.. Spins his web, anytime Hits box office all the time.. :)

I don't really go for triligies. I don't think that this 3rd one will do better than the second one unless everybody goes to see it because they want to see how much worse it is.

I think it could be the best one, but we have yet to make that choice until it comes out. Sam Raimi is just awesome anyway... I have always been a huge fan of his......

it will do better than that.. it will even surpass the gross sale of pirates of caribean 2 wich released this year and set a record.. u just wait and watch

this one could go either way I mean there is alot to work with storey wise so they could really blow it I guess

The first Spiderman movie introduced viewers into the life and beginning of Spiderman. The second movie showed the consequences one must face in being a hero as well as choices that a hero must consider. The next movie: Spiderman 3 would show how he has to face a darker side of himself. It'll be an internal struggle for Peter Parker. From what I know of the plot, it seems that it would do well in the box office because people would probably be interested in seeing his internal struggle and because there are a lot of Spiderman fans that just want to see how Hollywood would depict this part of the Spiderman story.
