Want to share something with you that happened today

I was out with my scooter this morning. I wanted to turn from a street onto a busy street. I was waiting to be able to pull into the street. The traffic was moving and could not go into it. This car behind me was honking and I said can't you see there is traffic and cannot move. So, when we could move and I passed the car by I made a honking sound at her to show her what it is like to honk at someone when they cannot move.

I will try and explain why people act they way they do here. People have been killed in more road accidents than in wars. The drivers here are terrible. They will sit in traffic and sit and honk honk honk even though they cannot move. They are honk happy here. We are people from so many different places so have different ways of doing things and brought our ways with us to Israel. There is alot going on this country too. I hope you can understand somewhat what I am trying to explain here. There have been so many wars and so much tension and we have lost a lot of our people in different ways.

@Hannihar i can understand, try driving in the roads of Manila and yours there would probably be a bicycle lane compared to us, I'm not exaggerating, people and even traffic enforcers get killed or injured because of road rage . We had been fighting a rebellion and secessionist movement here for more than 4 decades and im pretty sure more people get killed on the road too.

@Hannihar hahahaha! Good on ya! I know that I am very new to driving and not independent with it yet but I still don't understand why people get so impatient when driving especially when they don't need to be anywhere fast.

People here have been through so much so they feel they have to react when they cannot move so feel they need to do something.
