Calm

Trying to calm myself down today, anger is really not good for me i get so mad and over stressed where every little thing makes me mad, even though i am actually mad about something else entirely. Right now are water is off, i want to freak out and yell and scream but it wont get it on sooner, and guess who has to fix it??? My Uncle.... the same Uncle who siphoned gas out of my mom's car. It makes me think if somehow he made this happen and wants to look good by fixing something because he knows he did something really bad.... Of course that's just my mind running wild he couldnt really do something like that could he???? well he still hasn't admitted to what he did or apologized to my mom, and till he does i do not plan to speak to him..... But i also am not going to rage out and make everyone not want to comment or talk to me afraid i may snap on them in anger.... I love MyLot and it may sound funny but i feel like it's a safe place i can vent and let all my feelings out....

Why not, I do it all the time. Never scared brother, just know that is life and you are handling it the best way you know. Nothing to be sorry for.

That's right Chris, you vent it out here, and be the bigger guy then we are pretty sure that your uncle is not.

@chrissbergstrom Most of my family is nuts (not excluding myself, here). I'm starting to believe that crazy is the new normal, LOL.

This is a great place to vent and let things out. You have every right to be upset with him but acting in rage will only make things worse. We are here for you.

So sorry for what's happening to you Chris, sometimes it seems like there is a full moon out and things can get wacky and out of control. They say cooler heads prevail and you seem like such a cool, calm person. Its not right what's happening to you and I would be so ticked off too but for your health and well being find a way to meditate and not allow what's happening in your life right now to control your well being. Don't let anyone or anything, take away your great, positive energy. I hope things work out for you my friend, big hugs from Cathy XO

Well a pipe broke and it needed to be repaired so the water had to be shut off from the valve while it was fixed...

It is a safe place to let off steam and not punch anyone @chrissbergstrom The events make me wonder if the uncle did something with the water also!

@chrissbergstrom You might have to be the handyman there so your mother does not have to have him around. Wouldn't that be nice?

So your water is turned off? You have no way to turn it back on? Too bad you and T R can't find a place to rent together- separate from your other interesting people.

It is a safe place, when your uncle comes over I'd mention someone is stealing gas and You wonder who would do that to an old lady...assuming your mom is an old lady.

Mylot is a good place to vent. Sounds like you are between a rock and a hard place with your uncle. Keep your cool and maybe later you can speak to him about the gas.

I am not saying he turned off the water, but he could have. Why does he have to be the one to turn it on? I have been without water before when the pipes burst more than one time. Mylot can be a good place to vent until some people become critical.

Water is such a necessity that it's not surprising that you are irritable. I hope you get it back soon, even if it's the wicked uncle who has to fix it.

Sometimes a person will overly compensate after committing an offense, and I hope this is not the case. I like to watch a good mystery movie and sometimes I notice very clearly that the suspect offers to help for instance, Columbo, that character from the 70's hit tv series about a detective who always has the last word or two or three. The guilty person often offers their sincere helpfulness to do anything to put the blame on somewhere or someone else.

My wife's son, my step son, once had to deal with a guy who stole water from their faucet outside the house when they were not home and his water bill went through the roof. As a result, step son took action and went over to his back yard faucet and applied cement to it so there was no way to turn it back on so next time his neighbor tried to rip off his water he was unsuccessful. I mean, that guy was steeling his water by attaching his own hose to it and filling up his bathtub and using it to fill up gallon jugs. Over a month went by before he even found out. What a nasty neighbor from hell huh?

Yes sounds like something my Uncle would do, he feels like as long as he does repairs to vehicles and to things to do with the house that he is owed things like free gas and free food....
