medical proffession

i always think why medical proffession is becoming a business, bigger than a social service?

I think the main reason would be cost of living and population growth, because of which every profession comes under commercial scanner. sad that these days education and health sector are main sources of this.

Being a medical professional is a job, just like growing food or making clothes. If doctors didn't ask you to pay for their services, then what would they eat?
