Ever wonder if do we benefit from smoking?Based on research smokers are less likely to be obese. The stimulant nicotinic property of cigarettes are appetite deppressant.Thus, smokers are less likely to be fat. It also prohibit the effect of Parkinsons disease.Also it can delayed eclampsia for pregnant women.Brain alertness and memory retention is also one of its advantages.Seems true,but i suggest you research on this,for it can countervalidate multiple death occurence statistics for smokers.

To be clear, I am not doing any searches at this very moment but this is just purely my opinion: I believe everything (as in EVERYTHING) has good and bad effects. The more important question is: does the good outweigh the bad? For smoking, I'm pretty sure the bad would outweigh the good. If you want to get those good effects mentioned above, I think it would be better to consider other things (food, medication, exercise, etc.) that will give you those desired effects instead of turning to smoking.
