Are you guilty of it?

You know we all claim to do it but how many really do? I'm talking about hygiene etiquette in public restrooms. Today's society is always in such a rush and while washing your hands in public restrooms are important it seems like companies are continuously coming up with ways to slow down a process that should be so simple which I feel leads to more and more people skipping it and just heading out. Automatic sinks, automatic paper towel dispensers, and some using dryers only are so common place these days do we all use them as often as you would if is was just a simple sink and paper towel dispenser? What do YOU think?

I totally get what your saying...but as for me, I wouldn't leave a restroom public or private, without washing my hands no matter how difficult or easy the sink, soap dispensers or the hand dryer is to use. All I think about when I see someone leave a restroom without washing their hands is PIN WORMS and it instantly gets me sick. This has always been and will always be my pet peeve.

It is also a pet peeve of mine. I have had people in my college fake washing their hands so the people in the restroom with them would think they washed them... If you have time to fake wash them then you have time to actually wash them. Also, all the stuff in that bathroom is easy to use. None of it is automated. It does frustrate me/doesn't make sense to me when bathrooms will have one thing automated and the other stuff manual. If the sink or toilet is going to be automated then make all the other stuff in there automated as well.

I ALWAYS wash my hands my hands after using the restroom. I don't care if it is a public bathroom or in my own home. The automated ones only take a few more seconds to us and a lot of places now will even offer hand sanitizer in the bathrooms in case you don't want to actually wash your hands. I believe there is no excuse to not wash your hands after using the bathroom, especially in a public bathroom. The easiest way to not spread germs and keep everyone healthy and not sick is by just simply washing our hands regularly. I wash my hands multiple times a day just because it is good hygiene to do so. Our hands get dirty from all over and doing all kinds of things not just using the bathroom. I have had people at my college fake washing their hands so others in the restroom thought they washed them... If you have effort and time to fake washing your hands then you have time to actually wash them. I am not a judgemental person and I am all for people being who they are but if you don't wash your hands especially in a public restroom I will judge you. Nonhandwashers are the only people I judge.
