Brew black tea with mineral water

Hot summer is coming. Recently, I heard from my friend that she said she brewed black tea with mineral water and then put it into refrigerator for couples of hours.

I think tea will be better to be served when it is hot. Why do you put it into the refrigerator? It will cool down and it is not like the tea we normally have.

It's cool, while it has some drawbacks, that is you lose the interest of brewing tea and part of it's flavor.
