Hey Folks!
A newb here and I'm looking forward to posting, reading and replying, and making new friends!
MY first post is regarding the recent sale of my birthplace. I live in a different house in the same small town where I grew up, but wanted to keep my homestead as long as I was able. Well, financially I'm simply not able to keep it any longer and while it will be nice to have the money to pay off my debts, it really saddens me to have to give the place up. It is over 100 years old and was built by an ancestor and is filled with memories both good and bad.
In a way, I feel I have let my parents (both deceased) down, but I also have to face up to facts and look forward to the future.
As a Christian man I must put my trust in God.

Welcome to Mylot! I'm sure it is bittersweet for you to have to give up the home you cherish. If you have already prayed about it then I would trust in the Lord and leave it placed in His hands.

Thank you Ocean, that's very kind of you. I'm coming to terms with it and I believe God has a plan for all of us. :) It's nice to know I have such good friends here like yourself to share with. Please remember I always have an ear and shoulder for you too.
