The Last of the Trumpets - With the bright sun overhead, the green leaves all waving in the breeze, and the birds lined up and singing the chorus of a late Spring song, there they were - the Trumpet flowers making musical color from their vine up there on the pine tree. Kinda nice to see them, probably the last of the Trumpet flowers this warm day in June. Now we must wait until next year and another burst of color from high up on a tree that, otherwise, would be flowerless. Enjoy the music while it sounds. The flowering trees around here are taking their bow too, monsoon has come and the drenched flower petals lie beneath.... the ground a carpet of red, pink, purple and yellow

Thank you for the picture Gus. They do look like trumpets. I have never seen flowers like that before. They are beautiful.
