I woke up from my nap and Leticia had made apple dumplings. YUM! I ate most of them as if I had been a little girl and just after that, my daughter called me asking me if they could come for a cup of coffee. "They" means also my 2 younger grandchildren. I wish they has called me a little bit earlier. Anyway I have the water heating. Do you have visitors that come without notice, yet you want to invite them and have something nice for them?

Yes that happens many a times with me. Most of the times our friends and relatives happen to pass by our place and they plan to meet us. Anyways you enjoy your time with your daughter and your grandchildrens.

A couple of weeks ago, i got a call from a friend whom I haven't seen for more than 15 years and she suddenly told me she was coming over the house. In a matter of a few minutes, she and another friend arrived and we had a good chitchat. Couldn't prepare anything and they didn't want food or tea or anything. They just wanted to have a chitchat with me.

I make every year pesto and I freeze it. My grandchildren love it.
