I was wondering why does some people like your post or your response to their or someone else's post but do not respond to it. Not even a single time. Does that reflect that the post is good but not worth replying? Or Does that reflect that THAT someone is being too picky? What's your take on it Mylotters?

If I read something but don't have anything to say I will just like it to let the other person know that I stopped by and read it.

@Blushandglow yes I think it is a nice thing to do.. because sometime I or people don't have anything they can say to relate to the subject.

I hit like If I read the post - but I don't always comment because I might not have anything of value to add to it. Or if it is a specific question.. I might not have the answer or knowledge pertaining to it. I'm not one who says for example - I have no pets.. on a question someone has asked regarding advice on what to do for their pets. - if you have no pets.. you shouldn't bother responding. also if it was my discussion I probably wouldn't reply to a response like that.

@Shavkat Same here. That's why the post. Initially I felt bad but then it looked like a deliberate thing to not respond. But I think its ok. After all everyone has their own way of thinking and doing things.

After I've read a post, I usually at least leave a like, even if I don't have anything to reply.

@Blushandglow others though somehow ask why one user likes but does not comment, or comments but does not like.

@ridingbet yeah just like I did. Because I really dont understand what makes one just like the post and not respond to it. If you have nothing to add that is some reason but otherwise its just so complicated.

Agreed. Obviously its one's own choice to respond or even like something or not.

If its already been said then liking it is better than repeating the same thing again :)

But you may have a new point to add. Or just plain encouragement is enough. See everyone thinks differently so everyone has a different POV to anything and every thing.

There are times that I don't have anything to say so I just liked the comment. I usually liked the thread I am going to comment so that I will know if I already commented on that discussion or not.
