I went to a carwash in a neighboring town the other day and I was a little startled at this sign that was posted there.
It took me a moment to realize they must be talking to hunters.
My husband said he has seen similar signs before; it was a first for me.
I am having technical difficulties with the photo. The sign said "No Guts or Blood"

LOL, this one made me laugh! I would have had to pose by that sign. I have never seen that before.

Not like that that I recall. We have different signs here though.

never saw one of those but i can see where it would gross the washers out. i once worked cleaning motel rooms and dove shooting season was a nightmare. seeing those little bodies on ice etc. and cleaning the messes in the rooms. wish they had had a sign to save the housekeepers from that.

@bunnybon7 all the animals we eat are cute. The little lambs in spring etc. poor animals.

Ah gross. Good for the car wash - who wants blood all over their car lot?

So what are the hunters doing, washing their kill off in the car wash? That would be something a redneck would do! haha

@paigea In all the years I've hunted, I've always field-dressed my kills as well. A good hunter with an ounce of common sense would never have a need to clean up a bloody mess. Now fishing on the other hand, that can get messy! haha

@moffittjc ahhh - I didn't think of fishing, maybe that was what the sign was about!

I really don't understand what the sign means.
But seeing the word blood seems a scary warning.
Is it?

I think that is very funny! We see lots of trucks with deer, therefore, deer guts and maybe they wash them out at home LOL

@paigea My husband, when he hunted of course, field dressed them and they were clean as a whistle and I think he used a tarp in the vehicle.

@AbbyGreenhill That is what my husband said. There is no reason to be taking a gory vehicle to the car wash.

Better not have a nosebleed before getting a car wash!

I never thought about it before, but I can see how that would be a problem for the car washes during hunting season. We don't have a lot of hunting around here, but I need to ask my brother. Actually, I'll ask my nephew. He owns a gas station/car wash.
