Mt.Ulap is 1846 meters Above sea level. Not too high for veteran hikers, but good enough for curious trekkers. 6.5 kilometers to reach the peak and another 7km to go down = 13.5km (more or less) That's nothing compared to 100km - the longest walk I've ever made 20 yrs ago. Do you like hiking or mountain climbing dear mylotters? Have you tried one guys? Want to hear your experience jaiho2009 11:44pm Monday PT June 19,2017

Right this minute I will take a nap instead I climbed some peaks in Lake District in England many years ago when teenager, but I do not know how high. For walking I only walked about what maybe 20 miles? Maybe more when I walked the length and breadth of Ireland but then I was so young. I once bicycled 20 miles.. big deal I love the lovely family of Jaiho

That is amazing! I'm a walker and can walk at least 15 miles with no problem. I only climbed a part of a mountain to get a photo of a sheep. Lol! You have a beautiful family!

@else34 oh, but you can travel other places to experience my friend. I've traveled more than 200 kilometers to reach the starting point of Mt.Ulap coz I am too curious about people posting how majestic the mountain is.

I love nature much though climbing mountain takes so much energy. It's my first real mountain climbing but I like hiking and I can walk for 100 kilometers.

Yes, I like hiking and climbing. But I'm also a tad lazy. This climb, from the Logan Pass parking lot in Glacier Park (USA) to the summit of Mt. Oberlin, takes only about 2 1/2 hours to do, plus 1 1/2 hours on the way down. The photo is from August 2014 or so.

I love looking at moutains and beautiful peaceful views. I am not a hiker. I used to walk all around Jerusalem but now I do not walk as much as I should. I am not a climber.
