What a gorgeous Monday!

Today has been sunny and warm, with some really nice breezes. It's been the perfect day for doing almost anything at all!
I talked with my niece for a while. We had a scare over the weekend. My nephew, who is blind as well as developmentally disabled, went on a weekend trip with two friends of his - one who is blind and the other is physically disabled. They took a train to Perkins School for the Blind for alumni weekend. My niece had never been told that he was going out of state, nor that he was taking the train. When we hadn't heard from him by 8pm last night, we were both frantic. Thankfully, he was home shortly after that, but my niece is going to war with the people who are supposed to be responsible for him.
To ease the tension, she told me stories about her cats trying to deal with the new kitten! It's a real circus over there! The kitten has no clue he's causing so much chaos! He's just having the time of his life!
Meanwhile, I'm working on a few projects around the apartment to keep busy I'm planning a couple of errands for later in the week, one which should be to return to the shelter to visit my little kitten and see how he's doing. I'm going to see if they'll let me bring him a toy or something with my scent on it.

When is your little guy coming home? I am sure you can't wait. Here today it was so muggy and now it is raining like mad.

The new kitten's name is Timothy! The gals at the shelter loved the name and said, for right now, he's actually Tiny Tim! lol As for my nephew, he's keeping certain facts of his day away secret so my niece and I are sure that he either went somewhere he should not have gone or they got lost along the way and are afraid to tell. Either way, there's about 4 hours of a gap in all the information he's given to us, so we have no idea what happened.
