Mother Nature Is Not Playing Nice Today

Mother Nature is dissapointing me this morning as I had planned to devote quite a few hours in the garden today.
But the lady had other plans. I just wonder how many millions of people Mother Nature has been playing tricks on?
Were you thinking of going to spend most of the day outside? If you can't because of a certain lady, what are you going to do instead?
I guess I will have to do some vacuuming. There is no comparison to me with gardening. Gardening is freedom, vacuuming is like being in a jail.
One more reason to prove us that we are not the ones in charge here on this earth.

We have a beautiful day - sunny, slight breeze, hot, little humidity - should be the same Wed. thenThur all heck breaks out - rain for 4 days.

This will be a rainy year. I know I had planed for Monday to be a work in the yard and garden day, I got rained out on the first row in the garden

As I am writing this post it is raining heavily. I am here and also overlooking what my maid is up to (lol) And yes. The tv is also on.

@marlina We have always had maids. When we shifted here we had more but now we have cut down on having house guests and stuff and so can manage with one and a casual worker to attend to our garden.

My mower guy finally showed up about 20 minutes ago. Last time he was here was 6/1 and the rain has been so sporadic that the grass grew to my mid thigh. It's gonna take him 3 hours to do the job @marlina .

@marlina The part that really ticks me off is that tomorrow we have a 50% chance of rain; Friday, 40%; Saturday 60% and Sunday 60%. It's like, "Are you kidding me?"

I planned to do some weeding before work but it is too windy! My husband is busy picking up branches from the storm last night. I am not helping because of the wind and because that is not my idea of enjoyable yard work! Maybe I will vacuum to feel like I am contributing around here

Sometimes,there is no knowing what the weather will do.Now It is our rainy season (plum rains ) we have a lot of rains lately.

Yes Mother Nature has been acting crazy here too and sent us some storms that knocked out the power and played havoc with my internet

Our weather has been somewhat unpredictable as of late. I am not really into gardening or vacuuming so it doesn't affect me too much lol

I hope that she does a turnabout and gives you some nice weather. As for "vacuuming is like being in jail... for me it's ironing! I would rather be gardening too.

Well this morning was sunny and my hubby and I managed to do some planting of veggies. Then a thunderstorm hit and so it was indoor time. Now the day is already over and the sun has come out at 9:30 PM Hopefully tomorrow there won't be any rain.

I should get busy on that loathsome thing called vacuuming. Its bright and already hot out at 9 am. I am just in from watering fruit trees. The cool air in the house feels great. The temps will hit around 90 today. I could be out shoveling the chicken coop cleaner but sitting in the cooler house sounds so nice at this point.
