This one cracks me up each time I look at that photo up there.
That orange bucket used to be in front of our favorite Manitou bar, for people to dispose of their cigarette butts.
There used to be a hippie couple that would look in that bucket, hoping to find unfinished butts.
For some reason, this bothered the regulars immensely. They tried different things, but the couple still looked on a daily basis.
Finally, somebody made the sign in the photo and put it on the bucket. It seemed to work, as I haven't seen the couple in a couple years.
Honestly, while it's gross, I have no problem with someone scouring the town's butt cans looking for unfinished cigarettes. After all, people who are down on their luck deserve to smoke, too. It's not like what they find is coming directly out of my wallet.
I still think the sign was pure hilarity, though.

I do not appreciate that much this kind of humor, but it is not bad for their health. It reminds me a case about somebody banned from a bar who was peeing on the window every day. The owner lodged a complaint, and the judge decided that, as he was not authorized to enter in the bar to pee, he had no other way to satisfy the call of nature than to pee on the windows of the bar, and acquitted the man.

@Yadah04 - What's funny about it is that Manitou Avenue is pretty busy all day, both foot traffic and vehicular traffic. You would have to pee in the bucket in the middle of the night.

@teamfreak16 looking for butts is kinda gross already, i just can not imagine if inspite and despite of the sign they the couple would still look for butts. I say, that caught their limitation. Lol.

On the other hand, they are already willing to smoke something that someone else has already had in their mouth, that's been lying there for who knows how long. Maybe it's not that much of a deterrent after all.
