I bought some clearances plants to fill up my planters..
So I will be spending my morning planting.
This pic is from last year. A couple perennials actually survived.
But I had to buy more annuals to make these full again.
My roommate and I made these planters with some spray paint. Old tires and an old tire rim.
I like the way they came out.
I will post pics of the new plantings when done.

@infatuatedbby Thanks, Once they fill out more I think it will look better. I tried Fuschia in the top one
I figure they are usually sold in hanging baskets so they might fall over the sides.
The plants were on clearance for $1.46. I couldn't pass them up.

those are beautiful DIY garden pots (?). we have many tyres that are already damaged, but then, we cannot paint them for the pots because they are brittle due to exposure under the sun

Colorful!
I did gardening today, too. The front garden beds are taken over with grass. It would have been easier if there weren't those white rocks and landscaping fabric holding them in.

@minx267 I know someone who just kind of pulls the tops off the weeds, not really going after the roots, and 99% of them come back in days. When I weed, it stays weeded for weeks.

that is my least favorite thing to do... weeding.. ugh.
My roommate does it.. but she does it too fast..
she is like a bull in a china shop... and she just starts tearing things up... and then Like "hey that was a real plant!" she's ripped up my flowering bulbs before..
