It was a real warning! I got one of those weather alerts on my phone!

Last night around 8 pm, my husband called from his job (30 minutes away in the next County over), telling me, that as they were listening to the Weather that a tornado was in the area of his business and was heading to our town!
He told me that all the workers at his Store had rounded up all the customers and they and the customers went into a room at the business with no windows and they all stayed in there for around an hour.
Also, I had heard online how both Wal-Marts in that County and our County had rounded up all the people (workers and customers) and stayed in the backs of the stores away from windows during that hour.
Our front bathroom has no windows and I was ready to go in there.
Luckily, no Tornado happened there or here. It sure did scare me.

@LeaPea2417 They have been very strong, in some places they had big hail storms, we were spared and it is cool today.

I am very glad that nothing major happened. In the western part of our State, even today, some of those areas are under a tornado watch.

I am terrified of ever being in the path of a tornado as well. I hope and pray it never happens and I'm glad y'all were safe.

It's good to be prepared. I have the weather radio out, lanterns, etc We are under tornado watch until 9or 10 pm.

Yes, it ended up going more north, not sure what it affected. The weather yesterday leading up to the warning was , so hot and muggy.
