What Criminals Forget.

Criminals that think that they will fly under the radar and never get caught, must think again! After the deed is done, the police and law enforcement officers are already tracking their footprint! If you have a cell phone or computer those are the first things that will blow your cover, wide open. Phone records and cell tower positioning, will pin point the exact place you were, when making the calls. Computer experts will get into your all your correspondence, banking records and internet exploration. D.N.A. testing is so precise these days and helps to lock the criminals up for good. Yes, for the good of the people in the street who want to get on normally and live a peaceful life.

This is true, but it's also true that many criminals go unpunished.

@LadyDuck The authorities must have a lot of patience to sift through millions of files.

There is such a backlog of cold case files stacked up. There are some dedicated investigators who will take these files and spend years getting to the bottom of the case. Good for them!

Most criminals are never caught in spite of all our technology. It is sad really.

With new technology you would think that the net would close in on them, literally!

Yes no matter where they hide the police will be able to find them. Those new technologies are for sure helping the police. Sooner or later they will be caught

There is a major deception in their heads, thinking that they will get away with it.

@dianadee This makes me think of some criminal in my country who killed his step daughter and he was caught as he was seen on a security camera

They can never truly relax and believe they got away with it

Always looking over their shoulders and wondering when the police are going to catch up to them!
