Relationship challenges

People have pasts and lives before they enter a relationship and it can complicate things. I have a lot of exes some men and some women while my girlfriend only has 2 and 1 that was serious. I have my son while she has no kids. I have been engaged, married, and divorced while she has not been any of those things. She has been jealous of my trying to be friends with some of my exes. I have been jealous of her emotionally close friendship with her best friend who loves in the same building. We have had our ups and downs and have broken up and gotten back together a couple times. She wants to get married but I am unsure if I want to marry again. What do others think?

If you are over your exes not sure why you are trying to maintain a friendship with them. I can understand why she would be jealous

My boyfriend has only been with me, and I've only been with him - besides my ex / baby daddy.
He gets mad when I mention I've been with someone else. But I can't help what happened before I met him.
As for your situation.. if you dont want to get married again, or are unsure of doing it. Don't. You'll regret it.
As for the exs part.. MOST aren't okay with their partners talking with exs.

if you're not sure, don't do it. Marriage is, or should be, serious business. You've already been through one divorce, and so I'm sure that enters into your thinking. I am someone who doesn't believe in getting married unless you're positive that you're doing the right thing. And you can always give yourself more time to wait and consider, right?
