I can feel myself slowing feeling worse each day. I am at the point now where I just want to get it over and done with. I have no energy at all and have constant pain in my upper body. Breathing is becoming more difficult. I see now why they couldn't send me home to wait the surgery. Here they are monitoring me 24 hours a day.
Thr surgery has been scheduled for Tuesday at 1pm. They told me it could change before then but as of now that is when it will be. I am not as nervous as I was. I just want to feel better again and be able to get on with my life.
When I do get out of here and have recovered I am going to be an advocate for women and healthy hearts. I hope nobody has to slip through the cracks the way i did. I had to take a heart attack before I finally got the help I needed.

I am sorry to know you are in such pain each day.
You must be so exhausted as well.
Yes, I am sure the surgery is becoming more welcome by you in order to feel whole once again.
That will be a noble work you will do to warn other women of this most serious health condition.
How good you are to think of others in your immense suffering.
I am pleased you are getting care.
Good now you and we know when the surgery is scheduled for.
Will be holding a vigil for you Laurel as I told you.

I didn't realize that you are in such constant pain-I can understand wanting to have the surgery so badly.
I think that you'd be a great advocate, you have a gentle yet meaningful way with words. 
Its a shame that someone has to suffer like this before having the proper health care.

I had all the symptons but nothing ever showed on my ECG, blood work, etc. A heart echo or an ultrasound should have been done which never was.

That is very nice of you to be an advocate for women when you get better! You battled a heart attack and I cannot imagine the pain you're going thru. You can fight thru everything

I am sure you will be relieved to just get it over with at this point. Most women are used to ignoring pain and just soldiering on and it is a very good thing you got this warning that could not be ignored.

Hmm I could imagine how you are feeling now. Stay calm. You are already there and just few more days and you will be back to normal recovering yourself from all these tough times. Your good heart of helping others is to be appreciated. Bravo lady.. be bold as you are .. hope you will have a quick recovery process and prayers for the same..

I've read many times before that heart attacks in women often goes unnoticed and untreated compared to heart attacks in men. When you are through this and back healthy and active again, I think you will be a great advocate for women's heart health!
